The Postal Strike is a Blessing

Mrs BW has discovered Ebay.

This is bad news for two reasons. Firstly she takes up valuable blogging time checking to see if she has been out bid, or searching for stuff to buy. Secondly, we keep on getting packages through the post. This irritates our postman. He has to ring the door bell and get us to sign things. I fear he will start redirecting our mail elsewhere like he did the last time he got irritated with us.

A lot of the stuff is horse riding gear! I could get excited but its for the smallest BW who has discovered a (un)natural talent for riding horses. So far we have had two pairs of jodhpurs, riding helmets, and boots.

I hope you can't buy a horse on ebay. That really would piss postie off.

Why not confuse the postman by ordering another postman on Ebay? Failing that, just order a very small, flat horse for tiny BW.

Oh yes, ebay is a terrible and dangerous thing. And Ms. BW, if you're reading this, there's one for crafts called Etsy!

It must be a pain for people whose birthday it is around the time of postal strikes. When no cards turn up on the day, you're left wondering whether it's the strike, or that nobody cares

Reg - Interesting.Maybe I could order a large fierce dog to go with the post man instead?

Fiwa - Thanks for that. Mrs BW does read my blog and points out all the errors that I make. DOn't encourage her.

Kim - Unfortunately the smallest BW has his birthday on Wednesday. Hopefully his new bike should make up for it.
