The Song that has motivated the England Rugby Team.

Just one more effort. I shall be in Edinburgh at a wedding! Do they have televisions in Edinburgh?

You've gotta get a grip of your social calendar, BW! Children's parties and weddings!!! I feel your pain.
Yes, they have televisions in Edinburgh. John Logie Baird was a Scotsman, don't forget. That's the good news. The bad news is Benjamin Franklin was a Yank - nope, they ain't got no electricity up there yet.

Reg - I'll supply the electricty. Its Mrs BW I'm concerned about. She has issued a three line whip and expects me to be by her side a every moment. Well she is going to have to realise that she is married to the invisible man because come 7.30pm I am off in search of a bar and a TV and a friendly bunch of natives to patronise.

and It would be the perfect day. We have a home game. We are struggling for props so I would have got to choose (tighthead obviously) then a few beers and a chat with the vanquished foe before the main event. Songs, more beer late into the night. Before returning via takeaway to Chez Birdwatcher (probably spareroom but who cares) up for a brunch and a bit of a walk in the goyt with the kids and then settle down to see If Lewis H can make it a double. Instead...... well you can read about it later.

Yes, we have tellys (tellies?) north of the border. Trouble is they'll all be showing the shinty. . . or reruns of the Old Firm game. . . or the White Heather club. . . or something in Gaelic about moose farming.
