What a stupid thing to say. What sort of answer did I expect.
"Okay I won't bother then as I was going to sell it later on ebay"
Actually what she said was "Ok, yes I will."
We do say stupid things sometimes.

A few years back I sent my daughters towards the shower one night with the instruction, "Use soap to wash yourself." Even though they were only about 8 and 6 at the time, this was to them such a stunningly obvious directive that it served to simultaneously insult them and expose my inane idiocy. They turned it into a chant, which endures in the family repertoire to this day.
SAHIP - LOL - sharp even at that tender age.
